Get all the news about The Handmaid’s Tale season 5!
Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale is currently in production in Toronto, and if you’re anything like us, you’re probably eager for any news you can get. As a result, we’re pleased to present the following casting options.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dave actress Christine Ko will reprise her role as Lily on the Hulu series. She’ll “enter the story as a leader in the [Canada-based] resistance who’s no stranger to perilous situations — with the scars to prove it,” according to the official description. She’s a former Martha, and she’s tenacious and resourceful. Lily becomes a fierce ally once she has earned her trust.”
As we enter the new season of the show, it appears that the majority of the plot will revolve around a revolution. June (Elisabeth Moss) obviously wants to be reunited with her family, but after Fred’s death, she’s concerned about more than that. She wants to overthrow Gilead and put an end to the cycle of suffering from the help of others. It appears that we’re on the verge of a series of battles unlike any other, but how far can Gilead rot from within? There are a variety of ways to bring down an evil empire, and watching some of them unfold should be fascinating.
Season 5 of The Handmaid’s Tale has yet to be announced, but we’re hoping to see it later this year.
