On May 16, episode 18 of season 5 of 9-1-1 will serve as the series finale, and we have a strong sense that there is much to look forward to.
Take, for instance, multiple characters making life-altering decisions, a perilous rescue, and then a surprise wedding!
Who will be married? We wish we could let you in on the secret, but wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of the surprise?
Based on this alone, it is evident that the writers are considering several fun ideas for a potential sixth season. (Strangely, the show has not yet been renewed, but we’re confident that this will occur in the coming weeks.)

There’s a good chance that at least a major cliffhanger is on the horizon based solely on what we’ve just read. This is a well-known trait of this show, and we are already anxious about it. It’s difficult not to be!
