The episode “Divine Providence” from last week left viewers with mixed feelings. On the one hand, it paid homage to the season one character, Strand, Alicia, and Daniel, but the Wes as villain plotline was weak.
Alicia and her army arrive at Strand’s front door, and he invites them in for a drink. Daniel follows, believing Ofelia is a prisoner inside the Tower.
During their conversation, Wes expresses his displeasure with the situation and easily assumes command of the Tower and the Rangers, who have been extremely loyal to Strand up to this point.
Daniel, remembering that Ofelia is no longer alive, decides to be by Charlie’s side when she dies, something he was unable to do for his daughter.
