They threw another grenade into each relationship, primarily Sharpwin’s, with Max dressed as a prince waiting on the roof for their wedding and Helen hysterically apologizing from the wasteland where all good things went to die, London. Aside from that, nothing about this episode feels like a conclusion. It didn’t even meet the expectations of a series regular. Read on to find out when Season 5 will be released.

Season 4 of New Amsterdam is coming to an end.
At the end of Season 4 of New Amsterdam, the other doctors have planned a beautiful wedding on the roof, which suits Sharpwin because it has always been their home.
Everything was ready and beautiful, ensuring a lovely wedding for the couple. But then nothing happened. Why is this so? Helen is “sorry” and “can’t” because she hasn’t even been on a plane. What a slap in the face for both Max and the audience.
We can probably assume that something happened to Helen’s mother or niece. Hopefully, Helen has a plausible explanation for why she stood Max up.
Unfortunately, the show did not lead us to a wedding in the second half of the season. It would have been the most logical thing to do at that time, but we didn’t get it.
