GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT BILLY THE KID SEASON 1 EPISODE 9 ON EPIX!
We’re only a week away from the end of Billy the Kid, and “At the House” sets the stage for the upcoming Lincoln County War, albeit briskly. Billy the Kid season 1, episode 8, titled “The Rampage,” will presumably see all of these narrative chickens come home to roost, so here’s where things stand heading into that final hour:
Billy came to Lincoln and reunited with Jesse, Pat, as well as the rest of the gang, who are working for Irish Union Army veterans Lawrence Murphy, Johnny Riley, and Jimmy Dolan, who run a shady business called “The House.”
John Tunstall, a rival businessman, is stealing the House’s clients by treating the people of Lincoln more fairly. In financial distress, Murphy has hired Billy and the others — particularly Billy — to scare the region into ensuring The House wins.
True to form, Billy isn’t a fan of Murphy’s tactics or moral character, so when a local farmer named Garcia is killed at the end of Pat’s gun, Billy instead goes to meet with Tunstall’s lawyer McSween, clearly to switch sides.

How to Stream Billy the Kid Online!
Billy the Kid is only available on Epix, but it is available as an add-on for other popular platforms like Amazon Prime and FuboTV.
“The Rampage” preview and predictions:
War is almost certain to erupt. Everything should come to a head in this finale unless Epix is planning another season, which seems unlikely given how close we are to the end of Billy’s real life.
There will almost certainly be a time jump because Pat needs to return from his “sentence” to become a Lincoln lawman, though the law in Lincoln is just another of Murphy’s business interests.
Given the history, the general course of events should result in Tunstall’s death, followed by Sheriff Brady’s death. Killings continue for months until McSween’s death and the dispersal of the Regulators, where at point Pat Garrett, now Sheriff, hunts down Billy the Kid as well as Charlie Bowdre, whom we met in “At the House,” as well as one other Regulator.
Jesse’s fate remains unknown, so I’m going to assume Billy kills him here.
Will we see Upson again to complete the Santa Fe Ring plot? I believe so.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Epix will skip all of this and instead focus on the Lincoln County War for an entire season. We’ll have to wait and see.
