WHAT IS THE NETFLIX RELEASE DATE FOR INTERCEPTOR 2?
On June 3, 2022, the movie was released. There have been no renewal announcements regarding the release of Interceptor 2 on Netflix as of yet.
The good news is that Elsa Pataky appeared to be having a lot of fun while working on the movie, so if an Interceptor sequel was possible, she’d probably be open to it.
She joins the President’s national security staff after her valiant attempt and success. This leaves the door open for directors to revisit the plot and build from there as they see fit.
Early reviews are positive, and the movie is already trending on Netflix just hours after its release. All of the indicators are green. It remains to be seen whether Netflix will produce an Interceptor 2 movie.

EXPECTATIONS FOR THE INTERCEPTOR SEQUEL
The SEAL team finally gets Collins to safety before the SBX-1 completely sinks at the end of the first movie, and the final scene shows Collins recovering in the hospital.
The president pays him a visit and transfers him to her national security team. Collins’ father is also alive, as his former army comrades killed Kessel’s hitmen before they could kill him.
Interceptor 2 will follow JJ Collins as she begins working for the President.
As Collins’ responsibilities in his new job growth, we may see him in a more dangerous task or mission, possibly involving the President’s life. Furthermore, we can anticipate intense action sequences in the narrative of this possible sequel.
