Peaky Blinders is now on Netflix! Continue reading to find out if Tommy is still alive! Many Peaky Blinders fans are anticipating Tommy Shelby’s death in Season 6. So Tommy Shelby perished? The character is expected to die at some point in the future, but the series ends on a cliffhanger.
According to National World, in the Season 6 finale, Tommy hosts farewell dinner for family and friends before riding away on a white horse to succumb to his illness. Tommy discovered he had terminal tuberculoma earlier in the season. Read this for an explanation of Season 6’s ending.
There is, of course, a twist at the end. Tommy is on the verge of committing suicide due to his terminal illness when he discovers that the doctor who diagnosed him is friends with Oswald Mosley.
Tommy’s condition isn’t terminal because the doctor lied to him. As he confronts the doctor, Tommy decides to let him live and set out on his own with an uncertain future. But will Tommy die then?
TOMMY DIED AT THE END OF PEAKY BLINDERS SEASON 6?
In the Peaky Blinders Season 6 finale, Arthur murders McKee and his associates, finally exacting his revenge on Polly. Tommy murders Michael on the island of Miquelon, fulfilling Polly’s prophecy that one of them would kill the other. Lizzie had already left him after discovering he was sleeping with Mosley’s mistress, Lady Diana Mitford. Read this to find out if Arthur is still alive.
Tommy blows up his house and says his goodbyes to his family. A month later, Tommy is about to commit suicide when he has a vision of his daughter.
He discovers a partially burned diary containing a photograph of Holford at Diana and Mosley’s wedding, which was also attended by Adolf Hitler, among others.
Tommy realizes Holford has always been associated with his enemies and goes to confront him. He’s never been ill. They conclude that the only person who can kill Thomas Shelby is Thomas Shelby himself. He ambushes Holford but decides not to kill him.

When Tommy returns to his cart, one of Holford’s men has set fire to it. Tommy stands there for a few moments, watching his last possessions burn, before mounting his horse and riding away.
Alfie suggested earlier in the episode that Tommy pretend to be dead like him. Tommy cannot do this because Holford now knows he is alive. He will have to return to his old life sooner or later.
To summarize, Tommy is not dead at the end of Season 6, and he will return sooner or later because a Peaky Blinders film is in the works and will be released soon! So stay tuned for more Tommy Shelby in the future!
