WHAT DATE WILL SEASON 2 OF THE ESSEX SERPENT ON APPLE TV+ BE RELEASED?
The first season will conclude on June 10, 2022. There have been no renewal announcements for The Essex Serpent Season 2 on Apple TV+ as of yet!
The screen adaptation is billed as a six-part limited series, implying that the entire story will be told in a single season.
Given how the story ends in the books, it’s unlikely that the story will be continued in season 2. The subsequent episodes must be unique, inspired by the season finale, and venture into uncharted territory.
This has happened before with The Handmaid’s Tale, but the renewal of The Essex Serpent is still pending.
We believe there is a slim chance that The Essex Serpent will return for a second season. If we are wrong, the release date for season 2 of The Essex Serpent on Apple TV+ should be set for the end of 2023!
WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT NEXT?
The first season ended perfectly, capping off the Victorian saga. Cora and Will are seen smiling and holding hands in the final shot. Cora chose Will, seeing Luke only as a close friend, even though Luke was madly in love with Cora.
Luke decides to become a teacher, Martha begins social reform, and Cora continues her archaeological digs. A whale washed up on the beach is blamed for the entire disaster, and the villagers rejoice that the beast has been defeated.
Season 2 of The Essex Serpent could see the continuation of our two lovebirds’ adventures, who have only recently discovered each other and who could see new adventures pointing at the tip of their noses.
