In episode 8, everyone talked about their fathers and their relationships with them, one father-son bond was discovered while another was destroyed before it could begin, The Boy fought together and died. We all assumed that once it was revealed that Homelander was Soldier Boy’s son, they would band together and f*** everyone, but Soldier Boy had other plans.
He told Homelander he was too weak as well as began killing him. Soldier Boy was stopped before he could take down the complete Vought tower by the Boys working together.
Episode 8 left us with a lot of unanswered questions, which the subsequent episodes must address. Soldier Boy is back in the sleep chamber; will he break through and return?
Is Black Noir truly dead, or is he still alive? What happens if Victoria Neumann is elected Vice President of the United States? We learned in The Boys Season 3 Ending that V24 was trying to kill Butcher from within and that he only has 18 months left to live, so will he die?
With only three members remaining in The Seven, will new members be introduced? Finally, what are Homelander’s plans for Ryan? Let’s go over some of these concerns.
Will there be a Season 3 Episode 9 of The Boys?
Unfortunately, there will be no The Boys Season 3 Episode 9 but since Season 3 concluded with Episode 8. But the great news is that The Boys Season 4 has been announced, and while no release date has been announced, based on previous season releases, we believe that new episodes will be available sometime in July 2023.
Let’s talk about what will happen in Season 4 of The Boys. They are going after Victoria Neumann now that The Boys are also all back together and she appears to be a new threat.
Regarding Homelander and Ryan, we saw Ryan smile when Homelander was using his power to kill a powerless man. So we believe he will want to follow in his father’s footsteps. Butcher will eventually save Ryan and he’ll be the new Homelander.
Spoilers for The Boys Season 4!
Let’s talk about some comic books The Boys Season 4 Spoilers. Victoria Neumann was operating for Vice President of the USA at the end of Episode 8 after Homelander instructed The Deep to kill the past candidate.
We believe that Victoria Neumann will also become Vice President, but will also dethrone The President and become the new President. Why not, I mean? Why should you be a king when you can be a God? (Eminem reference).
A similar thing happened in The Boys comics, but Neumann’s character was male. After becoming Vice President, he assassinated the current President to become the new one.
Then, because he was working with Homelander, he gave the Supes even more leeway to do whatever they wanted. However, Homelander eventually killed him. Although the same thing will not occur in the show, they will undoubtedly be inspired by it.
Butcher has only given himself 18 months, so he’ll need to expedite his plan to exact revenge on Homelander, as well as save Ryan from him. In the comics, he eventually succeeds in killing Homelander, but then something goes awry.
He believes that no Supe deserves a life after killing Homelander, so he intends to kill every single Super. Unfortunately, some of The Boys had powers as well (via something along the lines of V24), so he began killing them as well. This would be interesting to see in a comic book.
