Even though the TNT series Animal Kingdom provided some closure, it is still difficult to think about it being over.
You could counter that there are still, at the very least, a few loose ends. enough that even after this, they could have continued with another tale.
Although there are many reasons why it isn’t happening, isn’t it still entertaining to discuss it here? We have a fascinating idea of what season 7 might entail, should they ever decide to make one.
Let’s start with J, who had a lot of what he wanted but still appeared to be unhappy in the series finale. If he is aware that Deran is still alive, what does he intend to do about it?
He may believe that what happened is sufficient retaliation; although he has killed before, we never believed that his uncles’ plans included murder in full. At least in terms of their deaths, he’s not to blame for what happened to Pope or Craig.
For Deran, however, a season 7 journey might involve trying to reconnect with Renn, Nick, and Adrian as well as trying to decide what to do with J.
The fact that J’s logic is wholly skewed is what has made him such a seriously flawed character. There is no doubt that Julie was severely mistreated, and we comprehend why he exacted revenge on Smurf as a result.
Yet Pope was mistreated and used as a tool, and Deran and Craig were very young at the time for a lot of what transpired. He might believe that J went too far. He had to decide whether to fight back or just carry on with his life.
We understand that it will be challenging to produce a season 7 without two of the Cody Boys in addition to TNT leaving the scripted programming business. Still, it’s entertaining and thought-provoking to consider everything.
