Get everything you need to know about Leonardo in season 1 episode 2!
Do you want to learn more about Leonardo season 1 episode 2 next week, following the series premiere today on The CW?
There are a few things worth noting here, but it feels right to start with a reminder that this is an international acquisition, and in some ways, we wonder if this will be more of the network’s future following the Nexstar purchase.
Not all of their new series could be adaptations, but rather ones aimed at an older audience. We don’t think the 18-34 demographic which The CW has catered to over the years would be interested in this story, which is a dive into Leonardo da Vinci.
There is a great cast at the heart of the show, including defunct Poldark star Aidan Turner, and there is a lot to explore here. Go ahead and read the episode 2 synopsis below for more information:
TRUTH – With Leonardo’s (Aidan Turner) accomplishments recognized and his reputation growing, he makes a risky decision that threatens to demolish everything he has worked for. Leonardo receives support via new commissions (the Portrait of Ginevra de Benci and The Adoration of the Magi) after gaining an unexpected ally, but he pays the price for his actions. Leonardo, determined to find truth in his work, looks to his past for new inspiration, however, the results are met with less enthusiasm.
When an unexpected situation shakes Leonardo’s confidence, even more, he sets his sights on a new job offer in Milan. Other cast members include Freddie Highmore, Matilda De Angelis, and Carlos Cuevas, Alessandro Sperduti, as well as James D’Arcy, Robin Renucci, Hugo Becker, Miriam Dalmazio, and Max Bennet. Daniel Percival directed the episode (#102), which was written by Frank Spotnitz, Steve Thompson, and Gabbie Asher. Original airdate 8/23/2022.
Each episode of LEONARDO will be available for free and without a subscription, log-in, or authentication on The CW App and CWTV.com the day after it airs.

Could this show, if nothing else, provide some people with some escapism during the summer break? We could see that, especially in an era when there isn’t much another scripted programming available. Something has to fill the void, and this could be one of them!
