Could there be news about Hightown season 3 in September? We know that it will eventually air on Starz. Is that a hope that’s too idealistic?
Let’s start by reviewing the current situation: the premium cable network has yet to make any firm announcements regarding the future of the Monica Raymund series.
Considering that filming is already complete, it is obvious that there will be more. However, predicting that it won’t arrive until at least November, if not as early as 2023, may be unrealistic.
With that in mind, we’re a little hesitant to expect any premiere date information this month. It might occur nearer the month’s end, but a lot of that will just depend on how the network wants to schedule it.
Just keep in mind for a second that Starz has a ton of options when it comes to what they want to do additionally when they want to air particular shows.
Along with Hightown, several other shows have already finished production, such as Power Book II: Ghost and Heels.
Additionally, there will likely be a new season of BMF, Power Book IV: Force, and the first half of Outlander season 7 in the first half of 2023.
Over the next four to five months, we’d be surprised if we didn’t see more episodes of Hightown on television, but the network will ultimately have the final say.
We just hope that we have the chance to see it shine and that more viewers flock to it, regardless of where they put it on the schedule.
This series certainly merits more recognition, especially after slipping under the radar for so long.
