The Sanderson sisters have returned! Almost 30 years after the first Hocus Pocus movie, Disney+ returns to Salem with a sequel.
The first movie was initially considered a box office failure, costing Disney approximately $16.5 million.
Hocus Pocus, on the other hand, has become a much-loved cult classic over the years, with sales, as well as stream counts, skyrocketing every October.

In October 2019, Hocus Pocus 2 was confirmed in development, with many of the original cast and crew members returning to begin filming in October 2021.

WHAT IS THE DISNEY PLUS RELEASE DATE AND TIME FOR HOCUS POCUS 2?
The wait is no longer excruciating! Hocus Pocus 2 is set to premiere on Disney Plus on September 30, 2022.
For the most impatient, Hocus Pocus 2 will be available on Disney Plus at 9:01 a.m.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE HOCUS POCUS SEQUEL?
“Three young women accidentally bring the Sanderson sisters back to present-day Salem and should find a way to stop this child-starved witchcraft from wreaking havoc of a kind. new to the world,” according to the official synopsis for Hocus Pocus 2.
Don’t worry, Hocus Pocus 2 will include a musical number similar to the iconic sequence from the first movie, “I Put a Spell on You.” The sisters performed Elton John’s ‘The Bitch is Back in footage shown during the Disney presentation, which we can’t wait to see.
