WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT NEXT? SPOILERS!
According to the official Kingdom Season 4 synopsis, “after the conclusion of the large-scale coalition campaign, the entire country of China is in a state of economic recovery.”
The State of Qin, the battle’s victor, is no exception. There, the political parties led by Ying Zheng and Buwei Lü continue to clash.
Zheng has the people’s trust after playing the role of the king in the coalition battle, but Lü is far from out of the picture. He intends to cancel Zheng’s coming-of-age ceremony in 18 months.
Meanwhile, a Zhao army of 20,000 men marched towards Qin. Due to a lack of generals capable of responding to the looming threat, Lü slyly suggests that Zheng take command of the royal court.
Cheng Jiao, Zheng’s half-brother, volunteers instead. Zheng now accepts Jiao as his replacement after they learned to trust each other during the Coalition Battle.
Zhao’s forces, on the other hand, retreated only half a day after confronting Jiao’s army. With unrest brewing in the shadows, Qin’s internal conflict becomes even more complicated.
Zheng believes he can rely on only two men: Bi, a general commanding 30,000 men, as well as Xin, the leader of the Fei Xin force.
