The show concluded on September 24, 2022. There have been no renewal announcements regarding the release of Lycoris Recoil Season 2 on Crunchyroll as of yet.
The good news is that Lycoris Recoil is popular enough to warrant a Season 2 renewal, with the overwhelming majority of user reviews being positive.
Unfortunately, there is a major impediment to Lycoris Recoil’s potential renewal: the series is an original anime, which means it lacks an original manga or light novel from which to adapt.
This means that Asaura and Spider Lily, who wrote the Season 1 plot, will have to wait much longer than expected to develop an original story.
We believe the date will be extended in the event of renewal. Season 2 of Lycoris Recoil on Crunchyroll should therefore be released in 2024.
