This expedition was fantastic, covering everything from the history of Irumyuui and Faputa to the entirety of the City of Gold and the Sixth Layer.
So much so that until the next episode airs, we’re not even able to wrap up everything that happened in the previous one. This week, Faputa makes a comeback to exact revenge on all of the people living in Irumyuui’s new body.
Reg’s matter-destroying ray was simply too potent in the Abyss, so it’s amazing how the series has managed to keep its use to a minimum. Previously, it was a crucial component of the plot.
Every time it is used, it becomes a significant event. For example, when Reg used it to free Mitty from his suffering, when he used it to immobilize Bondrewd, and undoubtedly in the final episode when he sets off the chaos that is about to break out in the once-peaceful land. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE EPISODE?
Due to the incinerator’s devastation, Faputa was able to reach the village of Ilblu at the end of episode 9. Reg is thanked for assisting her in achieving her objective and removing the only roadblock in her path.
Juroimoh suddenly musters the courage to try to attack the princess once more, but the accompanying Interference Unit quickly knocks him down and commands him to bow. Faputa warns the villagers that they will pay for their sins as soon as she sets eyes on them.
Faputa admonishes the villagers for their sin of ogling her and her siblings with greedy eyes. Faputa, of course, cannot forgive them for what she calls sin because they desecrated her mother in order to extend their own lives.
Because she will make the villagers pay for their crimes by wiping them out completely, she declares that the joys and sorrows of their daily lives have finally come to an end.
