EXPLAINED THE ENDING OF CHAINSAW MAN EPISODE 2!
The police inform Hayakawa and Denji that a friend who poses a threat to civilian life is believed to be at a residence in Nerima.
The eccentric duo responds immediately to the call and arrives as soon as possible.
When Denji and Hayakawa arrive, they discover that the police have already evacuated the building and that the demon is hiding in a room on the second floor.

When Denji and Hayakawa finally locate the demon, the latter orders the former to transform into a demon and kill him so he can assess his fighting abilities and determine whether he is good enough.
Denji, however, disregards his orders and decapitates the fiend with the ax in his hand. Hayakawa is understandably enraged and informs him that he cannot sympathize with them because he is now a demon hunter.
Denji and Hayakawa are summoned back to Makima’s office following their mission in Nerima.
Denji learns here that he has been assigned a partner for the Public Security Executioner Patrol.
When a fiend enters the office & introduces himself as Power, everything changes. While working with her, Denji notices a strange bloodlust and discovers that she was a dangerous demon before becoming a fiend. The ending music can be found here.
Because the horns on his head attract too much attention, the odd couple is tasked with patrolling an area with few pedestrians.
When Power smells blood in the air, she rushes to the scene, with Denji trying to catch up with her.
Power crushes a man who attempts to inform the authorities about the devil sea cucumber without hesitation and gloats over his remains for doing so before anyone else.
