Crunchyroll now has Chainsaw Man! Continue reading to find out when Episode 3 will be released! The Public Safety Demon Hunters kidnap Denji after he accepts Makima’s offer to work for her.
On their way, she offers him her black cloak and even orders food for the hungry human-demon hybrid.
However, just before eating her, he collapses into Makima’s arms, presumably from blood loss.
Makima and Denji arrive at the Public Security Demon Hunters’ Tokyo headquarters after a long drive.
She informs him that while there are over a thousand Demon Hunters in the city, those in Public Safety receive paid time off and other benefits.
Denji then discovers that he will be working for Aki Hayakawa, a three-year senior who is uninterested in his presence.
When the odd couple goes on patrol, Denji keeps asking Hayakawa about Makima.
Soon enough, the Demon Hunter has had enough and drags him into an alley, where he beats him. He advises Denji to return home and never return because people like him who joined Public Security for ulterior motives die young.

WHAT SHOULD YOU REMEMBER ABOUT THE EPISODE?
The show’s production is excellent, as expected, but we were surprised by how well the music captures the tone of the show.
Like the show, it’s delightfully goofy and a lot of fun to listen to. Some people appear to be dissatisfied with the show’s CGI. The ending music can be found here.
And the only thing we can say to them is “find a better argument,” because it appears deceptive and ignores the smoothness of sequences without CGI.
When did tying a tie become so cool? Never. This week’s Chainsaw Man episode was a delight to watch.
It was hilarious and told a great story, introducing many new characters who would go on to become anime mainstays for a long time.
