At the end of that week, much to Cid’s surprise, Zenon reminds Alexia that they got engaged privately and she can’t keep running away from that for the rest of her life. Cid and Alexia talk about their relationship later that evening.
The first claims she is only using him to get out of her engagement with Mr. Zenon. Cid, as a lower-class aristocrat, is the ideal candidate for this task.
She then indirectly reminds him that the school board is unlikely to be pleased that a young man attempted to play with the emotions of an innocent young girl for such a trivial reason.
Cid is unafraid of the warning and maintains that their relationship still doesn’t make sense, even though everyone can see that the princess is not on his level.
However, Alexia is tired of arguing and hires Cid to assist her. The couple maintains a public romantic relationship despite being personally aware of the deal that brought them together.
People who appear to be perfect, she believes, are either mentally ill or big liars.
A few days later, the mismatched couple has a verbal spat on their way to their dorm on the train.

WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT NEXT?
In Episode 4 of The Eminence in Shadow, our protagonist will be in serious trouble for something he did not do. The school is in disarray following the mysterious disappearance of Princess Alexia, Cid’s alleged girlfriend.
The Order of Knights believes this is a possible case of kidnapping, and Cid will face the consequences for being the last person in contact with her.
Only time will tell what happened to Alexia, and Cid will overcome this current obstacle.
Cid and Griffey Zenon, who clashed at the end of the previous episode, will be the focus of The Eminence in Shadow Episode 4.
Cid’s friends should be kept in the spotlight as well. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about Alexia’s disappearance in this episode, so she’ll be available as well.
