The Walking Dead season 11 episode 17 airs tomorrow night on AMC — are you ready for the beginning of the end?
Given that we’ve spent more than a century watching this show and immersing ourselves in this world, we’ll be the first to admit that saying goodbye is extremely strange.
We’ve been on such a journey with many of these characters, and while we know that a few will survive and that there will be spin-offs, this is only for a select group of them.
There are many others who we will never see again, and we must be prepared for this.
Rather than looking too far and ahead in this piece, let’s focus on what’s right in front of us: “Lockdown.” That is the title of Sunday’s episode, and the full episode 17 synopsis follows to give you a slightly better idea of what to expect:

Pamela faces protesters demanding justice for Sebastian’s crimes as Daryl as well as Negan rush to the Federation to stop Hornsby from pursuing their families.
We believe that the Commonwealth will be the focus of the majority of Season 11 from now on, which seems like a fitting place to end this story when you think about it.
For the majority of the show, we’ve seen Daryl, Carol, and a slew of other characters do whatever they can to survive.
They’ve been in the wilderness as well as random communities, each with its own set of issues.
This is one of the first times they’ve seen a fully developed urban society that has adapted to the world’s circumstances. We can’t even say Sanctuary or any of the other towns we’ve visited are like this.
